How to use High Barrier Waterproof Sausage Packaging Film for Meat Sausage Pack?

1.Automatic Unwinding & Guiding:Preparation。

The roll of flat PVDC film is mounted onto the automatic unwinding shaft. The automatic tension control and infrared web-guiding systems ensure the film runs flatly and without misalignment at high speeds.

2.Inline Tear-Strip Application & Notching:Easy-Open Integration。

Before the flat film enters the forming mold, a heat-resistant, food-grade tear tape is applied continuously to the inner side of the PVDC sheet. Concurrently, a precise mechanical knife cuts a micro-V notch on the film edge, ensuring effortless, tool-free peeling for end consumers.

3.Mold Forming (Flat to Tubular):Forming Phase。

The flat film with the integrated tear strip passes through a specialized forming shoulder. The film is mechanically folded and overlapped at both longitudinal edges, forming a continuous tubular sleeve around the central stuffing tube.

4.Longitudinal Sealing (Welding):Core Joining。

The overlapped edges of the film are continuously welded via a high-frequency generator or ultrasonic welding mechanism. The edges fuse instantly to create a robust seam, officially turning the flat sheet into a continuous tubular casing.

5.Continuous Meat Stuffing:Filling Phase。

The meat emulsion is continuously pumped under high pressure through the central stuffing tube into the newly formed PVDC casing. The stuffing rate is strictly calibrated with the film speed to control the casing expansion rate (typically within +1% to +2%).

6.Automatic Clipping & Cutting:Clipping Phase。

The filled casing enters the dual-channel clipping unit. The mechanical gates instantly gather the casing, displace the meat, apply two aluminum wire clips simultaneously, and cut the film between the clips to release individual sausages.

7.High-Temperature Counter-Pressure Sterilization:Thermal Processing。

The clipped sausages are transferred to a retort autoclave for sterilization at 115°C–121°C for 15–30 minutes. Strict counter-pressure control must be maintained to prevent the sausages from bursting due to internal thermal expansion.

8.Gradual Cooling & Thermal Shrinkage:Final Setting。

Sausages undergo gradual water-spray cooling. The high temperature triggers a built-in elastic thermal shrinkage (approx. 10%) in the PVDC film upon cooling, causing it to tightly wrap the meat, eliminate wrinkles, and deliver a smooth, plump finish.
